Watchmen was a graphic novel released in the mid-80’s about an alternate reality were mostly retired super heroes are thrust back into it together during the height of the cold war. The series was created by Alan More and Dave Gibbons.
In 2009 the graphic novel was made into a movie for DC and Warner Bros. by director Zach Snyder.
Now it’s a TV series for HBO by Damon Lindelof. Here’s what the official HBO description says.
