Asking Alexandria have released a brand new single called “Antisocialist” which is set to appear on their forthcoming 6th studio album Like A House on Fire due out May 15th. Cutter and Kaytie spoke with Asking guitarist Ben Bruce today about the new single and what to expect on the record.
“I think ‘Antisocialist’ is the perfect first like legit single to introduce to the world with this record. Because like you just said this is our sixth album. We’ve been through the trenches and back, we’ve had highs, we’ve had lows. And, ya know, the more even I’m talking about it now, and thinking back on our journey, the more you start to realize well everyone, every single person on this planet has a very similar story. Everyone has ups, everyone has downs, whether its in their career or their personal life, its just a very human thing. And eventually you just kind of get sick of the downs and realize ‘this is my life. I’m in control. Fuck everybody else. Fuck what they think. I don’t care anymore. I don’t even like you.'”
He continued:
“I’m hoping this song comes on and wakes people up like ‘Whoa. What was that? What is this? Cool. Turn it up.”

A few weeks ago, Asking Alexandria released a new song called “They Don’t Want What We Want” which will also appear on the upcoming record. You can watch the video for that track below.
Last week, Cutter and Kaytie were in Las Vegas for a convention called Hashtag Happens where they got to catch up with Asking Alexandria and were treated to a private acoustic performance.

Asking Alexandria will hit the road for a North American Tour with Falling In Reverse, Wage War, and Hyro the Hero this summer with a stop in Chicago on May 30th.
