People traveling from Wisconsin to New York will have to quarantine in New York for 14 days.
The state’s Governor Andrew Cuomo added Wisconsin and three other states to New York’s quarantine list.
Governor Evers says the sooner people in Wisconsin work together to wear masks, and socially distance, the sooner the state could get off New York’s list.
He doesn’t plan to start a list for Wisconsin, because he believes it would be “seemingly impossible” to enforce. He says there are a lot of roads and other ways to move in and out of Wisconsin.
New York’s rule is now in place for 22 states. Cuomo says the spread of coronavirus is growing in all of those places.
New Jersey also added Wisconsin to its 14-day quarantine list today.
