Over the years Nickleback have become the butt of many jokes. Like who could forget this gem from Dave Grohl:
“If you a play a Nickleback song backwards you’ll hear messages from the devil, even worse if you play it forwards you’ll hear Nickleback.”
Or this one from Adam Sandler:
“If a tree falls in the forest and no is around to hear it, then have we found the perfect location for a Nickleback concert?”
There are even articles written all over the internet with Nickelback jokes. Like this one.
Now it’s time for Nickelback to poke fun at themselves as they have made a parody of their hit song “Photograph” for an ad for Google Photos. Singer Chad Kroeger says:
“Fifteen years ago, we had no idea that the photos on our mobile devices would become such a ubiquitous part of all of our lives. When Google approached us with the idea about marrying the song with Google Photos we felt like it would be a fun and nostalgic way to give the song a lyrical refresh and share some of our favorite memories.”
