Going where no man has gone before jokes aside, it does seem rather fitting that William Shatner who played the iconic James T. Kirk on the original Star Trek series and the movies that followed, went to space. He did so on the second flight for Amazon’s Blue Origin rocket. The space program owned by Amazon CEO and Founder Jeff Bezos took its second flight to space on Wednesday, October 14th. William Shatner said to Jeff Bezos:
“What you have given me is the most profound experience I can imagine . . . I hope I never recover from this . . . I don’t want to lose it.”
