New Sevendust is in the works!
The group announced on social media this past Wednesday (Jan. 25), that they have begun writing for their next studio album. Sevendust uploaded photos to their Facebook page from the Instagram pages of guitarist Clint Lowery, and singer Lajon (LJ) Witherspoon stating that the band was hard at work creating ideas for their next album.
Just last month, Sevendust released a digital expanded version of their 2020 album Blood & Stone, which contained five new tracks. Lajon Witherspoon spoke on the recording process of Blood & Stone.
“I feel like we’ve grown as not just artists but men, personally. I feel like we’re seasoned, if that makes sense. Maybe we’re just like an old wine. We’ve had time to really know each other. We’re brothers. It’s easy for us when we’re in the studio. It’s like a well-oiled machine, once we get back in there. That’s where the magic happens, is when we’re looking at each other.”
Sevendust will be performing for two days at Island Hotel & Casino in Harris, Michigan this February. CLICK HERE for more information.
