KAUKAUNA, Wis–The scope of a downtown Kaukauna redevelopment project is changing. Mayor Tony Penterman says plans for a 30-million dollar apartment complex and hotel on Lawe Street will now feature two rental towers–but no hotel.
That will bring the total number of apartment units on the site to 180. The initial plan called for 101-units on the site.
Mayor Penterman says efforts to bring another hotel to Kaukauna will now focus on the Commerce Crossing site adjacent to Interstate 41.
