MILWAUKEE, Wis–The latest Marquette Law School poll shows very tight races for Governor and the Senate. In the gubernatorial race, 47% of likely voters say they support incumbent Democrat Tony Evers–while 44% support Republican challenger Tim Michels. In August, the same poll had Evers ahead 48% to 41%.
In the race for the Senate, incumbent Republican Ron Johnson has moved ahead of Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes 49% to 48%. In August, Barnes led that race 52% to 45%. The margin of error in both polls is 4.9%.
