On February 18th, Skillet and Theory of a Deadman made their way to Green Bay for a killer show at Epic Event Center. Before taking the stage, Skillet frontman John Cooper met up with Big Jake backstage for a conversation about life in Wisconsin, beard care, touring, and more.
When talking about living in Wisconsin, Cooper said:
“I don’t miss Memphis. I love living here. We have great family here. I like the vibe cause people are chilled out. It’s a very non-judgemental state I would say.’
You’re separated out from the stuff so you can get away from the industry. You don’t really feel like you’re tied to it all the time and you can raise your family in a wonderful state. I love Wisconsin.”
