The official music video for Disturbed’s track “Don’t Tell Me” featuring Ann Wilson of Heart has been released. The video, which showcases silhouetted lovers who drift apart as the video progresses, comes just days before Disturbed is set to hit the road with Falling In Reverse and Plush for the “Take Back Your Life” tour. Wilson talked about working with Disturbed, talking about how a particular cover stuck with her.
“I was honored when I got the call from David Draiman. Disturbed did a version of ‘The Sound of Silence‘ that my husband and I both really dug. And so, when the opportunity came to sing a duet with him on a song that meant so much to David emotionally, I jumped at the chance.
And then the video turned out great, which is yet another cherry on top. Hopefully we’ll find a time to perform ‘Don’t Tell Me‘ live together at some point. If they call, I’m there.”
Ann Wilson rose to fame as the vocalist of the legendary rock group Heart. Heart has sold over 35 million records worldwide, had four Grammy nominations, and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2013. Ann and her sister, Heart guitarist Nancy Wilson, also won the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023.
As mentioned above, Disturbed is set to hit the road with Falling In Reverse and Plush in the coming days. Their tour will take them to the Resch Center in Green Bay on January 23rd.
