On Hardy’s last album The Crow and The Mocking Bird, the songs were half country like the award-winning “Get In the Truck” and half rock, like the number-one rock song “Jack.” He even had a song with Jeremy McKinnon of A Day to Remember and showed up on Beartooth’s latest album The Surface. Country music loves this guy, rock music loves this guy, and has been doing a great job of breaking down that barrier. So what’s a guy like him to do next?
Yeah, so Hardy has gone full-on rock now and is trying to prove it by releasing his first new single called “Rockstar” from a new full-on rock album also called Rockstar. With a video and album cover that sees him dressing up like Kiss, The Beatles, Nirvana, AC/DC, Queen, and even Limp Bizkit there’s no denying the rock influence on this (former?) country music star.
Hardy will be going back on the road this spring. Check out the tour dates and get tickets and more info on his website.
