Not a great day for your bingo card if you had Shannon Larkin, Tony Rombola, Doc Coyle, and Kyle Konkiel staying in their bands. The reasons for Shannon and Tony departing Godsmack, a move that apparently happened last year, is simple, they do not want to tour anymore. Fair enough, tour life is tough and to do it for 30 years and being in their late 50′-early 60’s that is an even bigger toll to be paid.
As for Doc Coyle parting with Bad Wolves, he states that he has burned out from creatively and feels like he is not where he wants to be musically right now. He also states emphatically that this is a mutual decision and that there are no hard feelings.
Kyle Konkiel states that he can no longer give the band 100 percent and that he too has nothing but love for the rest of the guys in the band.
Kyle and Doc will be replaced by the returning Chris Cain and Kevin Creekman. Tony and Shannon will be replaced by Sam Bam Koltun and Will Hunt.
