Shinedown have released a chaotic and dizzying video for their latest track ‘Dance, Kid, Dance’.
Brent Smith described the song when it was released like this.
“Dance, Kid, Dance” is part social commentary, part don’t overthink it, let’s just rock! Safe doesn’t always mean secure, you gotta push boundaries, you gotta ask questions and you need to stand your ground. That being said – rock and roll is an attitude, so lean into and LET’S DANCE!!!”
The high-energy video partners well with the chaotic song with themes of hedonism, drug culture, and the terrifying world of relinquishing oneself to prescription drug abuse. Shinedown will be on tour this summer making a stop in Milwaukee on July 26th.
