Brand new rock from the ever evolving metalcore giants The Devil Wears Prada! Their latest release ‘For You’ is out today.
The band describes the song as this.
‘A love story unravelling through the eyes of someone hopelessly devoted to a partner who can never truly give back. It’s the sound of desperation meeting blind loyalty, a crushing, cinematic anthem for the heartbroken.’
Jeremy Depoyster talked to me about what it’s like writing new material for the band last year and he said this.
‘I feel like when we started to write the new stuff including ‘Ritual’ it was more like “ok well that may be how I feel but I kind of need to figure out a way to get through it…Maybe you get in your car on the way to work and you listen to this music that really resonates with you but then it’s like, you gotta go to work, and then you gotta go hang out with your family and you have to show up for your friends…so it’s trying to reckon with how to do that and maybe not even having an answer.(laughs)’
The Devil Wears Prada will be in Green Bay on July 12th with the Summer of Loud Tour.
