The Engineering Technology program at UW-Oshkosh is now the best in the state.
The school landed an accreditation from the ABET engineering group.
Provost John Koker says that means better job prospects for graduates. He says the students are prepared to enter the profession, mostly in the manufacturing industry.
UWO is one of just two state campuses that offers bachelors degrees in Engineering Technology. The other UW-Green Bay does not have the ABET accreditation.
