3 members of Avenged Sevenfold got together remotely to put together a little tribute to The Misfits. Bassist Johnny Christ, drummer Brooks Wackerman, and guitarist Zachy Vengeance recorded a cover of the song “Hybrid Moments.” Then did a video remotely of them performing the song in their best Misfits makeup. Zachy Vengeance said of the experience:
“We wanted to have a little fun with you to kick off the Halloween Season. Brooks wanted to do a MISFITS song. I wanted to paint my face like KISS and call ourselves the KISSFits and Johnny wanted to drink and walk around town dressed like a skeleton. I forgot to paint my face like KISS. We still kept it punk rock and spooky for ya! Enjoy!!”
In an interview 3 months ago, Avenged Sevenfold singer M. Shadows said that a new album will be released in the summer of 2022 and will sound nothing like their last album The Stage.
“The [new] record sounds nothing like The Stage, it’s a completely new direction, and it sounds nothing like anything we’ve done. That’s all I’ll say about it: it’s over the top, and it’s very eclectic and wild.”
