Bad Omens
Noah Sebastian is the lead singer and writer for Bad Omens and is a very fascinating person. Going into this interview I was told he was a ‘very difficult interview’ and ‘was mostly a question answer type of guy’. I found him to be very thoughtful and incredibly smart. I asked about what the way they used punctuation in the track listing and if that was a conscious choice and said this.
“It was a little bit of both, and you’re the first person to notice that, which is crazy.”
Songs like ‘Who Are You?’ and ‘Someone Else’ were the names of the songs while they were working on them and when it came to put together the track list he thought was clever to put them back to back.
The Death of Peace of Mind is truly a musical trip and if you can find a way to see Bad Omens in concert, do it!
