The National Weather Service confirms a tornado touched down near Seymour on Wednesday night. The category F-1 twister formed at 6:17 p-m.
The Weather Service does not say how long it was in contact with the ground. The confirmation is based in debris patterns in the area and radar data.
No one was hurt in that storm.
