Bad Wolves may look a little different, but they’re still rocking as hard as ever.
This past Thursday (June 30), Bad Wolves released their newest track “The Body” as well as a subsequent lyric video. This new track will be featured on the band’s upcoming EP, which is set to be released later on this summer. Drummer John Boecklin spoke on the new track and how it challenged the band from a musical standpoint.
“When we were writing this song we had a goal of trying new things. The slap bass and clavichord instantly was new territory for Bad Wolves. It feels good to know this track sounds like nothing we have ever done before. It’s a fun track that feels like a mix of Faith No More with a dash of Daft Punk. Enjoy!”
Sounds intriguing… Bad Wolves have gone through a number of lineup changes in recent years, most notably going from former vocalist Tommy Vext to Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz due to Vext exiting the group in early 2021. Just this year guitarist Chris Cain also stepped away from the band, making way for Max Caron to take over on guitar.
