I Prevail have officially released the second single off of their upcoming album True Power, which is set to be released on August 19th of this year. The new track is called “Bad Things”, and takes a more melodic approach than their last single “Body Bag”.
From a musical standpoint, “Bad Things” takes the approach that many tracks off of I Prevail’s 2019 release Trauma took. Melodic yet rhythmic verses with electronic elements spliced in, while bumping up the power on anthemic choruses where vocalist Brian Burkheiser really shines. Still, heavy elements are added in throughout the track including vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe’s soul-shattering screaming, as well as a bridge and breakdown sure to give headbanging fans headaches in the best way.

I Prevail will be hitting the road later on this year in support of their upcoming album True Power. Pierce The Veil, Fit For A King, Yours Truly, and Stand Atlantic will be joining the band on the road in a must-see show.
The tour will be stopping through Oshkosh Arena on September 14th.
