LA rockers In This Moment are due to release their eighth studio album Godmode on October 27th later this year, and today we continue to get a taste of what’s to come. The band released an official visualizer video for the next single earlier today, which just so happens to be the title track. Godmode is said to be different from all other In This Moment releases, as guitarist Chris Howorth recently said in an interview about the new record.
“It’s different from all of our other albums in a lot of ways. One way is the fact that instead of getting off of a tour and having, like, three months to get it together, go into the studio and make a new one, we had several years to do it. And we used a different producer — we used Kane Churko instead of his father, Kevin. Kevin has done all of our records except for one. Working with him brought a whole new level of intensity to the project and the change and the time we had to make it kind of made us a little bit more — I don’t know — powerful and aggressive, and the whole thing has an intensity to it that’s, that’s different for us.”
In This Moment will be hitting the road this fall alongside co-headliner Ice Nine Kills, with support from Avatar, and New Years Day. The run of shows will be making a stop in Green Bay, (without Ice Nine Kills), on Saturday, November 11th at EPIC Event Center. Tickets are no longer available, as they sold out less than a week after going on sale.
