OSHKOSH, Wis–Organizers of the “Hope Fridge” have shut down their location in downtown Oshkosh. The “Hope Fridge” provides free refrigerated and frozen goods to anyone in need at any time.
In a Facebook post, organizers say the fridge behind the Wagner Market drew “verbally and physically violent folks” that created a safety concern.
They hope to find a new location in Oshkosh soon. The Hope Fridge in Neenah continues to operate.
