Sleep Token has had quite a breakout year as they released the final chapter in their album trilogy, which began in 2019 with Sundowning. The final chapter, Take Me Back To Eden, has garnered quite the reaction on social media with Sleep Token songs blowing up as popular trends across apps like TikTok. TikTok users particularly took a liking to one of the first singles released at the beginning of the year, “The Summoning”.
Revolver Magazine has awarded the masked musicians with the 2023 Artist Of The Year award. With the title, Revolver will drop a special collector’s issue dedicated specifically to Sleep Token. Check out more of what can be expected inside in a statement put out by the publication.
“Fully authorized by the band, this 76-page deluxe magazine includes rare photographs and a deep dive into Sleep Token’s captivating album trilogy: 2019’s ‘Sundowning’, 2021’s ‘This Place Will Become Your Tomb’ and 2023’s ‘Take Me Back to Eden’. It also includes commentary by famous fans like Evanescence’s Amy Lee, the Darkness’ Justin Hawkins, Architect’s Sam Carter, Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante and more. Thicker than a standard issue of Revolver, without any ads, the magazine features embossed type and UV coating on its covers.
The Sleep Token special issue comes with two alternate, collectible covers — one of which is only available in a deluxe collector’s slipcase complete with an exclusive, specially commissioned portrait of Vessel by ‘Take Me Back to Eden’ visual artist Alex Tillbrook.”
