Sleep Token fans are speculating and panicking after the band wiped their Instagram account of all posts and changed their bio to “Nothing lasts forever.” While this is not a new trend, and bands have been clearing social media accounts for various reasons for years, this one seems a bit more extreme as the timing suggests that it’s because band member birth certificates were leaked online.
When it comes to an empty social media account, it’s all speculation. Sometimes artists clear their social media accounts when they are stepping into a new era, or starting up a new album cycle and they want to garner publicity and promotion for it. This does make sense, as Sleep Token just unveiled new masks for what is seemingly the next chapter for the band. Their third studio album, Take Me Back To Eden, is also the conclusion to a trilogy of albums, so it is entirely possible that all of this is just the band moving into a new era. I’m speculating just like everybody else.
Another theory behind the band wiping their Instagram is because someone apparently found and shared the birth certificate of one of the members, known as III, online. That member specifically deleted all of their social media accounts, so that combined with the band’s empty Instagram has led fans to believe that they did it because their identity was leaked. Anonymity is Sleep Token’s thing, so this would obviously put an end to it which makes “Nothing lasts forever.” make a lot of sense. Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice their opinions as well as their displeasure for the fans who take things a little too far.

the fact that someone went and found iii's birth certificate and posted it, forcing him to delete all social media, is absolutely disgusting. this person may have single-handedly ruined sleep token for everyone.

Nothing official has been said by anybody in Sleep Token’s camp, so everything online is pure speculation at this point. It is also worth mentioning that Sleep Token’s website has not changed, and none of their tour dates have been canceled.
