MENASHA, Wis. — The Menasha community is not in danger following an incident in the Heckrodt Nature Preserve.
A police officer was on foot patrol around 6:45 a.m. Friday when they heard what appeared to be an active disturbance.
The officer walked toward the noise and came across two young males engaging in a physical altercation.
The suspects, which had four legs and antlers, fled the area after noticing the officer.
Police are not looking to speak with them.
