It’s happened! “The Emptiness Machine” by Linkin Park is no longer in the number one spot, and the first ever radio single by the newer band The Funeral Portrait “Suffocate City” gets there! Nothing More jumped to number two, and Jelly Roll returned to number three, while Badflower rounded out the top three. Two debuts in the top 21 this week with the latest singles from Daughtry and after many many years away, Hinder comes back to the land of mainstream rock.
In the past decade, there has been an influx of theatrical story-driven rock bands, and among the top is the Columbus, OH-based Starset. Well, we’ve received that transmission, and we’re celebrating their Immersions tour and the new one-off song “Toksik” with lead singer Dustin Bates.
