As you most likely know, I am a man of sophisticated taste, especially when it comes to beers. That’s why I nearly jumped out of my egregiously large pants in joy when I saw a brewery announce another band inspired beer. There have been plenty of these before, from Belching Beaver teaming with Deftones to Iron Maiden having their own brewery, metal and beer go hand and hand like chocolate starfishes and three dollar bills (yo). Celestial Brewworks in Dallas, Texas are the purveyors of the latest band inspired beers, this time from Limp Bizkit. Though not licensed by the band or Durst this American India Pale Ale is called Fred Thirst and clocks in at 7% abv. Does this one make this years top five beer list?
